Lindor Vintage Ornament Wreath

Lindor Vintage Ornament Wreath

Materials

  • Wreath form from your local craft store
  • Spray paint in a shade of your choice
  • Hot glue gun
  • 10 – 15 large vintage or vintage-inspired ornaments
  • 15 – 20 small or medium size vintage or vintage-inspired ornaments
  • 50 Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles
  • Beaded garland (optional)

Steps

  1. Spray paint wreath form to match your ornament colour palette.
  2. Using a glue gun, glue your ornaments to the wreath form starting with the larger ornaments in the middle of the form around the wreath. Optional: For more depth, glue down a beaded garland before adhering the larger ornaments. Allow to dry between steps.
  3. Fill in the gaps with smaller ornaments and allow to dry.
  4. Stud the wreath with Lindor Truffles using small dots of glue.

Note: Various shaped ornaments can be substituted for vintage ornaments or used interchangeably. In this example we’ve used silver, but use whatever shades complement your colour palette.

Twine Ornament

Twine Ornament

Materials

  • Balloon
  • Jute twine
  • Scissors
  • Foam brush
  • White glue (watered down slightly)
  • Pen
  • Lindor Truffles
  • Ribbon

Steps

  1. Blow up a balloon to about the size of a grapefruit.
  2. Cut twine 2 to 3 feet in length.
  3. Tie one end of the string to the neck of the balloon. Wrap the string over the balloon, creating a lattice-like effect. Leave one hole large enough to insert the Lindor Truffles.
  4. Using a foam brush, apply the glue carefully to the twine. Don’t brush on too much glue or there will be remnants once it dries.
  5. Attach a long string to the balloon and hang it somewhere to dry completely (about 24 to 48 hours).
  6. Once the glue is dry, use the back end of a pen to carefully loosen the balloon from the twine.
  7. Once the balloon has been loosened, use a pair of scissors to cut off its neck. Carefully remove the balloon from inside the string ball.
  8. Insert Lindor Truffles into the ornament and tie with a ribbon.

Lindor Truffle Chocolate Tree

Lindor Truffle Chocolate Tree

Materials

  • 12-inch (30-cm) foam cone
  • Metallic gold paint (optional)
  • Cocktail sticks or round toothpicks
  • Lindor Chocolate Truffles – a 12-inch tree uses about 100 truffles (we used Milk Chocolate, Peppermint Cookie and Candy Cane)
  • Star-shaped tree topper (optional)

Steps

  1. If desired, paint the foam cone in metallic gold paint. Leave to dry.
  2. Starting at the base, insert a cocktail stick into the cone at a 45-degree angle. Place a Lindor Chocolate Truffle on a cocktail stick and position so it’s secure. Make sure the Lindor logo is upright for a clean, streamlined look. Repeat until the entire base row is covered.
  3. When starting the next row, stagger the cocktail stick placement so the Lindor wings lie in between the truffles on the row below. Pierce the cone with a cocktail stick and attach a Lindor Chocolate Truffle. Repeat until the entire cone is covered in truffles.
  4. For the finishing touch, insert a cocktail stick vertically into the top of the cone and place a truffle on top. Experiment with different tree toppers to add a bit more drama to this delicious centerpiece.
