Hand-Crafted Peppermint Bark

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time:  10 minutes
Servings: 1 lb.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ bars (250 g) Lindt Swiss Classic Surfin Dark Chocolate
  • 2 ½ bars (250 g) Lindt Swiss Classic White Chocolate
  • 3 ½ to 5 ¼ oz (100 to 150 g) candy canes, crushed

Steps

  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. Temper both chocolates separately.
  3. Pour dark chocolate over prepared baking sheet; using offset spatula, spread evenly to edges of pan. Refrigerate until chocolate sets, 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Pour white chocolate over dark chocolate; using clean offset spatula, spread evenly over dark chocolate layer. Sprinkle with candy canes. Refrigerate until white chocolate sets, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Break bark into pieces.

Lindor Bark

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 1 lb.

Ingredients

  • 4 bars (100 g each) Lindt Excellence 70% Cocao dark chocolate
  • 15 assorted Lindor Truffles (such as Candy Cane, Caramel, Extra Dark and Milk Chocolate), halved

Steps

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In double boiler over medium-low heat, melt chocolate, stirring occasionally, until smooth. (Or melt chocolate in microwave in large microwave-safe bowl on medium heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.)
  3. Pour melted chocolate onto prepared baking sheet; using offset spatula, smooth into even layer. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Arrange Lindor Truffles, cut side down, on melted chocolate. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  5. To serve, break bark into pieces.

Dark Chocolate Bark with Almonds

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 1 lb.

Ingredients

  • 4 bars (400 g) Lindt Swiss Classic Surfin dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (250 mL) whole almonds

Steps

  1. Temper the chocolate.
  2. Add the almonds to the tempered chocolate. Stir to combine.
  3. Spread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes, remove, and let set in a cool place.
  5. Store in an airtight container, in a cool place.
